ZKK has signed a long-term sponsorship agreement with BC Zhytomyr. The first stage of cooperation is focused on 4 months. Today, athletes from the basketball club played with the management of the plant and investors of the company.

Igor Liski, chairman of the supervisory board of the group of companies “Effective Investments”, which includes housing and communal services, said he intends to make support significant for the development of sports in Zhytomyr.

“Of course, this is the help of sports in the city, as well as the development of a healthy lifestyle among children and youth. We start with the support of an adult team, but the main goal is to attract as many children as possible, so that from an early age they have the opportunity to play basketball. I am full of optimism. This is just the beginning, there is still a lot of work to be done. But this project is the maximum effort of business and city authorities. I see that the guys’ eyes are burning, they will fight only for the first places, “Ihor Liski shared.

The cooperation agreement was signed by the First Deputy General Director of ZKK LLC Vadym Liski and the President of Zhytomyr BC Denis Aparin.

“We are glad to have found a partner in the person of the Zhytomyr Cardboard Mill and now with joint efforts we will be able to raise the level of basketball in Zhytomyr,” said Denis Aparin.

Basketball players of BC Zhytomyr have been appearing on the floor in a new branded uniform with the logo of the Zhytomyr Cardboard Plant since September.

Vadym Liski, First Deputy General Director of Housing and Communal Services LLC, also spoke about the task of developing a strategic plan for the development of basketball in Zhytomyr. In particular, it is important for the management of the plant to support the basketball team and bring its achievements to a much higher level.

“We have quite a sports team. Our employees have created a football team, we regularly participate in marathons, swim in dragon boots and even win paintball championships. For us, sport is a way of life. But supporting the city’s sports initiatives is more a way of thinking and social responsibility. At the same time, we support not so much the club as basketball as a sport. We really wanted the emphasis to be shifted to support children’s basketball, “said Vadym Liski, First Deputy General Director of Housing and Communal Services.

The team has a lot of work ahead in the sports arena of Ukraine. We hope that the synergistic work of business, government and the athletes themselves will bring great results in the big game.
