Zhytomyr Cardboard Mill (ZhMK) actively supports the development of sports in the region. This time, the plant did not stand aside from the Ukrainian Modern Pentathlon Championships held in Zhytomyr. Zhitomir Iron and Steel Works is the sole sponsor of the Zhytomyr Modern Pentathlon Federation.

The championship was attended by 240 participants from five regions of Ukraine. The participants’ age ranged from 9 to 70 years. The event has a special symbolic character because it is dedicated to the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine, who will always remain in the hearts of Ukrainians. By supporting such events, the Housing and Utilities Company recognizes not only the support and development of sports, but also the importance of memory and dignity.

Supporting sports in the region is an important step towards popularizing a healthy lifestyle and developing a young sports generation.
