The team of Zhytomyr Cardboard Factory and EFI Group took part in the Cherkasy International Economic Forum.

According to Vadym Liski, First Deputy General Director of Zhytomyr Cardboard Mill, such events are extremely timely and relevant. It is during the war that the foundations for future economic victory are being laid.

The forum was attended by representatives of the government, state-owned companies, parliamentarians, academics and entrepreneurs from both the national and local levels.

In three panels, participants discussed investments in wartime, the duty of business to the state and mobilized workers, the role of human capital, and the importance of veterans. They also talked about the return of refugees and the search for labor resources. They highlighted the need for a sharp reorientation of the economy, changes in the economic structure of the regions, and an increase in productivity and knowledge intensity of production.

Vadym Liski shared his impressions of the forum: “Very strong speakers. Proper organization of the discussion. High quality standards in the organization of all processes. And, most importantly, a frank conversation about cooperation between business and government. Everything is as I like it – sincere, frank, on partnership terms.
